Job Description:
RCL Foods Chicken Animal Feed division is currently seeking a passionate and driven individual with high levels of honesty and integrity to fill the role of General Worker – Off loader. The purpose of the role is timeous off loading of all incoming raw materials from delivery vehicles. Please note that candidates residing in Berlin, East London and surrounding areas will receive preference.
Job Responsibilities:
- Timeous offloading of rail wagons
- Comply with Product Quality Standards
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required by Mill operations and/or designated by Mill Management
- Ensuring that bags are neatly packed and stacked onto pallets without mixing product codes
- Be an integral part of a high performance team
- Perform all job tasks with accuracy and speed
- Daily housekeeping of the siding area (cleaning and sweeping) including silo block
- Ensure that the work area is clean and hygienic at all times
- Comply with all Food, Health and Safety Standards
Job Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to work shifts and overtime as operationally required
- Physically fit – able to carry 50kg bags
- 3 months’ previous experience working in a production environment
