Job Description:
This Stock Coordinator must ensure compliance to all Netcare stock related policies and procedures maintain good working relationships and fulfil work requests to ensure the achievement of divisional goals and the compliance of Netcare standards. In addition to this the Stock Coordinator will be responsible to effectively manage a group of employees who form part of the stock team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Stock management reports
- Assume responsibility for all daily and monthly administration duties including but not limited to:
- Kronos for all stock employees
- Leave rosters for the stock employees
- Ensure correct CSA requirements are implemented as per company protocol.
- Conduct and capture the employee performance development meeting information (EPD’s) for Stock Controllers, Stock Clerks and Stock Learners.
- Monitor and manage the procurement standardisation policy and communicate this to doctors and nursing staff.
- Hands-on administration for stock employees.
- Handle all routine administration queries and work requests that may not be included in this role profile and resolves these efficiently and effectively within the required turnaround times.
- Assist with any ad hoc duties assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.
- Manage all aspects of green procurement throughout the hospital.
- Ensure that general office administration is attended to, to ensure job efficiency including but not limited to filing, printing, faxing and other general administration queries.
- Manage the cost per event (CPE) impact per patient.
Job Requirements:
- An intermediate to advanced level of Computer Literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Demonstrates genuine care and concern for the person, demonstrating empathy and an ability understand the situation from a person centred Health and care perspective.
- Multi-tasking ability and the ability to handle stressful situations and difficult stakeholders (internal and external) appropriately.
- Demonstrates excellent organisational skills: organised and structured.
- Knowledge and working experience of the pharmaceutical stock control system.
- Ability to work as a member of the team, to not function independently bur to form synergistic partnerships with other divisions.
Qualification & Experience:
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 certificate.
- Previous experience in stock management.
- Qualification in Logistics at an NQF level 5.
- 2 years previous management experience and experience as a Stock Controller.
- Principles of production and inventory management (PPIM).
- Basic stores and stock control certificate (BSSC).
