Job Description:

A vacancy currently exists for a Service Advisor at our Magnis Bloemfontein operation. Relevant experience of at least2 years in the Commercial Vehicle Industry is required. Experience with UD would be an added advantage

Job Responsibilities:

• To record customer’s details and requirements accurately by means of a Job card
• Mileage of vehicle to be noted on the job card on inspection of the vehicle
• To ensure the highest level of efficiency and courtesy when dealing with the customer
• To perform daily follow-ups with customers
• To maximise service sales by using professional sales techniques
• To keep clients updated throughout the day regarding vehicle progress
• Confirm type of job before opening job card
• To ensure completed jobs are not released without verified payment
• To ensure the Company’s quoting policy is adhered to
• To carry out a physical inspection of the vehicle with the customer (damages to be noted)
• To record and update service history and vehicle details accurately
• To ensure payment arrangements are confirmed prior to commencement of job
• To ensure all CPA documentation is completed correctly as required by the Law
• To ensure the security of cash taken
• The Service Advisor will be responsible to maximize service sales and maintain high levels of customer:

Job Requirements:

• Good discipline.
• Good administrative skills
• Team player
• Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a service department within the Commercial Industry.

Qualification & Experience:

• Customer service and service department on-the-job training
• Grade 12
