Job Description:
To perform maintenance on building and equipment, and ensure that assets are upheld to their original state
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and control risk in the technical environment within the Hospital
- Perform requested technical jobs within the Hospital
- Lead and manage the people in the Technical team (where applicable)
- Perform office administration duties within the Technical Department
- Manage and control department budgets / finances (where applicable)
- Build and maintain stakeholder relations and client service within Technical Department
- Coordinate and monitor work is done by on-site contractors within the Hospital
Job Requirements:
- Experience in working in a team
- Financial and budgeting principles
- Occupational Health and Safety Act
- General experience in building maintenance
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Drivers licence
Qualification & Experience:
- 5 Years Hospital Experience or 5 Years Supervising a maintenance team
- N2/Grade 12 and appropriate Trade Certified
- 3 Years in Hospital Technical Department or 2 years supervisory role of a maintenance team.
