Job Description:

A vacancy exists for an Enrolled Nurse, based at Life Springs Parkland Hospital, reporting to Zera Lottering. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing holistic and optimal quality nursing care to critically ill patients in order to maximise a positive outcome for the customer in line with Company & Hospital strategic objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build effective relationships with patients, doctors and other medical personnel to ensure quality patient care
• Effective utilization of resources
• Maintain all health, safety and infection control standards to ensure a safe patient environment
• The continued education of patients
• Effective maintenance of equipment
• Accurate record keeping
• Conduct duties to meet the requirements of quality patient care, ensuring that all nursing activities carried out comply with SANC regulations, relevant legislations and Life Healthcare policies and procedures

Job Requirements:

• Registration with SANC
• Qualification as an Enrolled Nurse
• Ability to work shifts according to the operational requirements of the hospital
• Computer proficiency would be an advantage
• Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage
