Job Description:
A vacancy exists for an Enrolled Nurse Specialised, based at Life Springs Parkland Hospital, reporting to Joy Van Niekerk, Theatre Unit Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing holistic and optimal quality nursing care to critically ill patients in order to maximise a positive outcome for the customer in line with Company & Hospital strategic objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Effective utilization of resources
- Conduct duties to meet the requirements of quality patient care, ensuring that all nursing activities carried out comply with SANC regulations, relevant legislations and
- Life Healthcare policies and procedures
- Effective maintenance of equipment
- Maintain all health, safety and infection control standards to ensure a safe patient environment
- The continued education of patients
- Build effective relationships with patients, doctors and other medical personnel to ensure quality patient care
- Accurate record keeping

Qualification & Experience:
- Registration with SANC
- Computer proficiency would be an advantage
- Ability to work shifts according to the operational requirements of the hospital.
- Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage
- Relevant experience in Theatre is essential
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
