Job Description:
A vacancy exists for a Senior Bookkeeper (Debtors) reporting to an Accountant at the Financial Services Centre in Dunkeld. The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance of accounting processes to achieve compliance, standardization and efficiency in the financial accounting of Life Healthcare.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting internal and external auditors
- Preparation of accounting reconciliations and resolving of reconciling items in relevant accounting process
- Ad hoc projects as requested by Management
- Complete, accurate and timeous processing of transactions
- Compliance with corporate governance, procedures & protocols within the group
- Constantly striving to improve working methods to improve standardisation and efficiencies
- Attending to customers (Admin Managers/Management/Colleagues) queries and promoting a high level of customer service
Job Requirements:
- SAP experience would be an advantage, as would be previous experience in a Debtors department
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is critical with advanced Excel Skills
- High performance orientation, independence, functional proficiency, initiative and an ability to meet deadlines is essential for this position as is attention to detail and good communication skills
