Job Description:

A vacancy exists for a Systems Controller at Life Vincent Pallotti Hospital, reporting to the Ester van der Walt, Patient Services Manager. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of quality service to all system users.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage an internal call logging process for users in the hospital
• Effectively co-ordinate and supervise the work of 3rd party companies e.g. CEOS, Di Data, Telkom etc. (software and hardware implementation)
• The LAN cabling on site.
• Being the site contact for all telecommunication queries within the hospital.
• Manage IT budget and plan accordingly/obtain approval for all IT expenses
• Ensure the security of IT systems
• Provide first line support for the hospital systems users at all times
• Maintain PABX room and switch access room environments.
• Log events to disable users on LHC system upon their resignation or contract termination
• Maintain the neatness of cabling at all times.
• Effectively assist end users during roll-out of new implementations
• Maintain and manage all IT systems on-site
• Follow the Life at work process for all users that require computer access
• Provide appropriate feedback to users on progress of their events

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience and excellent computer skills are essential.
• Strong influencing skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of IMeds, Impilo, SAP, Kronos and Vision would be an advantage.
• Attention to detail, perofmance through people and partnership building
• Adaptable and flexible and able to prioritize
• A minimum of 2 years Information Technology experience.
• Matric
• Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology
