Job Description:
A vacancy exists for an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary in General Ward based at Life Queenstown Private Hospital, reporting to the Unit Manager, Senovia Kenty. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring delivery of uncompromising quality care in line with Company strategic objectives and applicable Health /Nursing legislation
Job Responsibilities:
- Attending and participating in review and ward meetings in order to ensure conformance to QMS audit standards
- Ensure a safe patient environment
- Be a positive team player
- Safe and competent execution of clinical care
- Adhering to safety measures
- Monitoring and recording patient intake and outputs
- Performing, understanding and complying with the company infection control standards in order to adhere to PPE standards and procedures
- Report all customer complaints to the UM
- Following the correct techniques and wearing of PPE’s
- Working flexible hours in order to minimize agency costs and show willingness to assist other departments
- Ensuring correct and proper usage and maintenance of equipment
- Assisting the promotion of all activities of daily living to all our patients according to their abilities

Qualification & Experience:
- Current registration with the relevant professional/regulatory body
- Able to work flexible shifts, day and night duty
- Understanding of the substance abuse treatment
- Needs to be registered as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary with SANC
