Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the recruitment, selection and placement of personnel and students on campus, in consultation with the campus principal
  • Participate in and monitor budget allocations and cash flow meetings for the Campus in conjunction with the Principal in terms of the PFMA
  • Develop and implement Human Resource and Finance Management policies in relation to the campus.
  • Provide human resource and administration services to the Nursing lecturing service, including students and monitor PERSAL reports.
  • Take responsibility and give advice on supply chain management to the campus management
  • Liaise with the Finance and Human Resource Departments at Harry Gwala Regional Hospital and KwaZulu-Natal College of Nursing (KZNCN) Head Office
  • Control purchasing of equipment and supplies in consultation with Campus Principal
  • Check and monitor the completion of contracts by all learners on training and forward to KZNCN.

Job Requirements:

  • Competencies in conflict management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to capture data and analyse BAS spread sheet
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal relationships
  • Ensuring that the campus follow relevant policies on supply chain management
  • Employment Act, Nursing Act, Human Resources Management policies
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet required deadlines

Qualification & Experience:

  • 3-5 years Clerical/Administrative experience
  • A Diploma/Degree in Finance/Public Management/Office Management and Technology
  • Senior Certificate/ Grade 12
