Ensure commodities and services are supplied timeously and at expected quality levels Perform and guide on bid specifications, evaluation of tenders and management of contracts/purchase orders within set policies and standards Job Requirements: Computer literacy is essential - MS Word, Outlook and Excel - proof of qualification/course required Excellent interpersonal skills, effective team management and leadership abilities, as well as negotiation skills; A valid driver's license (Code EB) accompanied by a willingness and ability to travel (note: own vehicle is required); Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management/Procurement/Logistics. A working knowledge of relevant legislations, including PFMA; PPPFA; CIDB, B-BBEE Act and its codes of good practice, and General Procurement Guidelines. A valid South African resident status and strong knowledge of South Africa's procurement procedures. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, highly analytical and good planning skills are essential.
