Job Description:
The Pharmacy Clerk is responsible for the ordering of goods onto the Netcare stock system, collating and filing corresponding documents and producing bar-code labels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Surgical Standardization Process
- Processing of stock for internal departments and inter-clinic sales
- Produce accurate bar-code labels and labelling of stock
- Assist in management of stock in accordance to Netcare stock Management policy with special emphasis on designated stock areas.
- Optimisation of Orderwise, SAP and Mobill processes
- Management of related administration tasks pertaining to document flow and compilation of month end stats reports
- Data capture of stock used on patient charge sheets when required to do so
- Print and packing of surgical replenishment of ward/unit and theatre stock
- Prescription interpretation and capture of surgical orders dispensed to patients
- Receiving, packing ,processing and replenishing of ethical and surgical stock with special attention to cold chain and high risk items
- Assist from time to time or according to roster duties of front counter and goods receiving department
- Bar-coding of all surgical stock
- Management of supplier back order situations
Job Requirements:

Qualification & Experience:
- Intermediate computer literacy
- Experience in medical environment
- Experience and knowledge of Surgical and Ethical stock products
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 certificate
