Job Description:
We are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative person with the relevant qualifications and experience to teach Drums to Grades 2 – 7
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of orchestral percussion and a classical background
- Experience and ability to enter boys for the Trinity Rock & Pop as well as the Rock School exams
- Facilitate in the set-up and de-rigging of drum kits and other small rock band equipment at WHPS and at off campus venues when we have concerts/performances
- A dynamic, energetic, enthusiastic, innovative individual with strong interpersonal skills and a sound work ethic
- Accompany staff and pupils on music tours, as and when required
- Experience and ability to teach Drums to Grade 2 – 7 boys
- Proficient in the English language with good report writing skills
- Prepare all pupils for the WHPS Matinee Concerts and WHPS Music Festival and other concerts/performances
- Ability to be creative in coaching a Percussion Band and guide pupils when playing in the Rock Band or Orchestra
- Able to perform in a staff ensemble providing background music for annual events
