Job Responsibilities:

Manage the application of the procurement policy and procedures in SCM. Manage the acquisition and supply of goods and services. Manage, develop and maintain contracts with suppliers of services to GIFA. Manage the resources within the section. Contribute to the development of the GIFA’s SCM and Asset management strategies and policies, Operating Frameworks, Annual Performance and Operational Plans, Structures, Systems, Policies and Procedures. Ensure optimal delivery of contract management and tender administration services through the management of the SCM framework, i.e. Tender administration, Advertising of Bids, including committees such as the Bid Specifications Committee, the Bid Evaluation Committee, Bid Adjudication Committee; and SCM acquisition, demand and disposal management. Manage and facilitate delivery on the GIFA’s demand and acquisition process, and procurement process. Manage and monitor delivery of asset management services for the GIFA. Manage the asset and supply chain management function and deliver appropriate resource, governance, risk and compliance management practices. KNOWLEDGE : Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulation 16, Supply Chain Management Framework, Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, Preferential Procurement Regulations 2017, National Treasury’s Code of Conduct for Supply Chain Management Practitioners, Public Sector Risk Management Framework

Job Requirements:

Three (3) years relevant tertiary qualification at NQF 7 as recognized by SAQA in Supply Chain Management/ Purchasing/ Logistics/ Public Administration, Finance, and Asset Management. 3-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management at junior management level. Driver’s License
