Fidelity Security Jobs in Midrand – SHE Specialist

Job Description:

A position exists for a SHE Specialist stationed at the Fidelity Cash Solutions Head Office at the Midrand Ulwazi Campus. The position will report to the Managing Executive of FCS.  The overall purpose of this position is to perform a full SHE functions and deal with and co-ordinate all SHE related matters.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor compliance with the Contractor Management Program throughout the business
• Develop and coordinate delivery of SHE Training Programs
• Implement and monitor the Risk Assessment and Control System throughout the business
• Drive a culture of “Zero Harm to People and the Environment” across the business
• Provide leadership, mentoring, guidance to the Branches
• Promote incorporation of SHE into business planning and assist with establishing SHE management performance measures
• Develop and implement SHE Projects, Processes and Procedures
• Drive and manage ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
• Build strong working relationships in order to assist Managers to consistently implement the Company’s SHE Policy and SHE Management System
• Assist and coordinate the investigation and management of accidents, incidents and near misses

Job Requirements:

• Exceptional Communication skills (written and verbal) to relate across all levels in the organization
• Champion of Integrity and Trust
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to influence senior management to commit to SHE responsibilities
• Managerial Courage and ability to communicate effectively with senior management
• Ability to work independently and handle pressure

Qualification & Experience:

• Computer Literate (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Internet)
• Skilled in delivering training programs, presentations and development of policies and procedures
• Related Environmental Health & Safety certificates or equivalent courses completed (i.e. RCAT & Risk management, Environmental Health & Safety Management, etc.)
• 4-6 years’ experience in Environmental Health & Safety Management in Construction and Subcontractor management
• Valid Driver’s License
