Job Description:
Provide a professional Architectural service through the management of the process of analysing, investigating, assessing, defining, conceptualizing and designing major physical built interventions in the environment and, preparing and defending contractual terms and conditions or, resolving disputes and providing information and advice on the best practice to guide, enable and ensure environmental, social and legislative changes and demands.
Job Responsibilities:
Provides input into the process of defining policies,determining strategy and positioning of the department. Prepares business plans to determine and present the sustainability of major complex architectural projects. Manages developmental and project management processes associated with the scoping, resourcing, implementation, monitoring and communication phases of major complex projects. Applies professional knowledge of architectural design policies, applications, principles and the understanding of associated disciplines. Manages processes associated with the preparation of contracts and resolves conflicts and/ or defends actions. Interacts internally and externally disseminating technical and professional information. Guides and mentors professional/technical personnel and attends to specific requirements in respect of submissions and applications.
Qualification & Experience:
- Registration as a Professional Architect (PR. Arch) with the South African Council for the
- Computer literate in advanced and or specialised software packages.
- 2 years relevant experience which may have been obtained as part of registration.
- Architectural Professions.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license (Code B).
