Job Description:
To establish and maintain Occupational Safety, Health and Environment processes within the framework of legislation, ISO and specifically according to the business unit objectives
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze ad assess the business needs with respect to Occupational Hygiene risks, implement and monitor control measures
- Implements, enhances and maintains occupational safety, health and environmental programs within the parameters of legal requirements, ISO 45001 and best practice
- Develop and implementing of safety, health & environmental audits Compile accurate projections on the integrated safety risk and ensure legislative and business risks created by accidents are managed
- Facilitate multi-functional disciplinary work groups to compile risk specific Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental risk assessments and audits processes
- Provide professional advice and guidance on Occupational Safety, Health and Environment
- Development, implementation and monitoring of safety, hygiene & environmental standards and procedures
- Develop and advise on implementation and evaluating the lifestyle of risk management processes and projects

Qualification & Experience:
- National Diploma in Environmental Health or Safety Management with 3 years related experience OR
- Relevant B Degree in Environmental Health or Safety Management with 2 years related experience OR
- B-Tech in Environmental Health or Safety Management with 3 years related experience
- Grade 12 plus
