Job Description:

To design, develop and maintain IT solutions that enable Eskom business to deliver on their mandate effectively and efficiently in accordance with EFC IT’s strategy and service offering

Job Responsibilities:

• Build efficient and reusable services
• Development and support of third-party interfaces Installation, support and configuration of Tibco software
• Responding promptly and professionally to bug reports
• Write code in Java
• Design, development, and unit testing of production software
• System analysis
• Continuous improvement of the development process

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of database, operating systems, and software application
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose bugs
• In-depth knowledge of Tibco
• Sound interpersonal relation
• Understanding of business concepts and EFC IT strategies
• Certified software developer
• Flexible and able to work within an undefined and continuously changing environment
• Resilient and able to operate effectively in a matrix environment

Qualification & Experience:

• B Degree/B Tech in Information Technology/Information systems/
• Information Management at NQF 6 with 360 Credits
• System interfaces, application services
• 5 years’ IT development, development of integration software,
