Engen Jobs – Airport Manager

Job Description:

To manage the local airport storage, handling and airport refuelling operations, thereby ensuring a cost effective environment, in support of Engens marketing objectives and optimisation of profit opportunities

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that Product Quality is maintained as per prescribed Aviation requirements
• Ensure that compliance is managed through internal and external auditing programs
• Ensure Depot and Into-Plane operations complies with Aviation & company standards and
• Ensure that an HSEQ MS system is entrenched in the operations so that the depot operates in a safe working and operating environment
• Ensure compliance to company and International Standards & procedures, local by-laws, audit
• reports and adherence to policy
• Build and maintain sound relationships with local authorities, Airport Authorities, internal and external customers/ stakeholders and staff
• Support Airport Managers at Kimberley & Upington Airports
• Provide active and pro-active business support by ensuring that the receipt, storage, handling and distribution processes complies with OHSE Act / Engen / Petronas working Instructions
• Develop, train and nurture competent staff through a hands-on approached mentorship
• agreements at all times through an efficient, safe working and operating environment

Job Requirements:

• Drivers Licence (Min Code C but preferable Code EC)
• You are Hands-on Manager and a Team player
• Demonstrate the ability to make educated decisions
• Ability to work on your own / remotely with minimal supervision
• You have a reputation for integrity
• You have Excellent Communication and people skills
• 3 years’ experience as a Depot or Plant Supervisor

Qualification & Experience:

• Problem Solving Skills
• Good of understanding and knowledge of Fuel Depot Plant Operations and Equipment Maintenance
• NQF Level 6 (Diploma in Mechanical / Process Engineering
• Aviation Product Knowledge and Quality ful and operating with integrity
