Job Description: Dis-Chem Pharmacies require the services of a reputable Pharmacist for their Boksburg-North store. Your portfolio will cover the provision of pharmaceutical care by taking responsibility for patients’ medicine-related needs, and being accountable for meeting these needs. Job Responsibilities: Evaluation of a patient’s medicine-related needs by determining the indication, safety and effectiveness of the therapy Accurately interpret scripts and act in a professional and responsible manner, and within the legal requirements in accordance with the SAPC Provision of pharmaceutical care by taking responsibility for patients’ medicine-related needs, and being accountable for meeting those needs, which shall include, but not be limited to the following functions: The manufacturing of any medicine or scheduled substance, or supervision thereof The purchasing, acquiring, importing, keeping, possessing, using, releasing, storage, packaging, re-packaging, supplying or selling of any medicine or scheduled substance, or supervision thereof The compounding, manipulation, preparation or packaging of any medicine or scheduled substance, or the supervision thereof Determining patient compliance with the therapy, and follow-up to ensure that the patient’s medicine-related needs are being met Correct errors on scripts rejected by medical aid The provision of pharmacist-initiated therapy Dispensing of any medicine or scheduled substance on the prescription of a person authorised to prescribe medicine Furnishing of information and advice to any person with regard to the use medicine Job Requirements: Time management Team player Computer literate – MS Office Drug and family planning, and complementary medicine Knowledge of or experience in Unisolv, SAP and E-Scripting Able to deal with pressure Knowledge of Retail/ FMCG operations Trustworthy and honest 3rd Additional Language Problem-solving Qualification & Experience: BPharm / equivalent qualification Computer literate – MS Office Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) Experience in supervising staff Registered tutor Unisolv experience Grade 12 / Matric Sound numerical skills Strong command of the English language and a second language Job Details: Company: Dis-Chem Pharmacies Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Boksburg, Gauteng, SA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Vacancieshut.com
