Job Description:

To lead and direct the nursing service in the hospital

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage people in the nursing department
• Manage resources to ensure optimal operational efficiency
• Compile, implement and monitor the hospital specific nursing strategy
• Manage the patient experience
• Manage key stakeholder relations
• Drive and support a culture of quality nursing care and patient safety

Job Requirements:

• Continuous improvement and quality assurance methodologies
• Infection prevention and control (IPC) principles and protocols
• Financial management
• Management of staff productivity
• Clinical risk management
• Healthcare industry
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

Qualification & Experience:

• Nursing Education qualification
• 3 or 4-year Diploma or 4 year Degree in Nursing; Nursing Management qualification
• Patient Safety management; Infection Prevention and Control management; Nursing Education
• At least 5 years professional experience in a tertiary healthcare institution; 2-3 years management experience in a tertiary healthcare institution
