Job Description:

Manage and ensure the professional status through education and training and structures. Adhere to National Road Traffic Act and other relevant legislative requirements, cash management, audit and oversee the duties of the personnel in the directorate.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage policy and safekeeping of all documentation (which shall include the daily balance sheets and computer-generated audit reports);
  • Authorise and ensure that administrative duties required to sustain the function of a Motor Vehicle Licensing/Drivers Licensing Admin as determined by the NRTA 93 of 1996, Regulations and Local Council Regulations;
  • Manage and supervise the eNATIS user administration;
  • Ensure compilation of role descriptions in conjunction with the various role players;
  • Personnel and performance management;
  • Asset ad Resource (materials and tools) management.

Job Requirements:

  • Accountability;
  • High level of confidentiality and organizational skills;
  • Time Management, working independently, under pressure and ability to prioritize.
  • Strong written and verbal communication ability;
  • Ability to interface with top management and excellent staff management skills;
  • Computer literacy including MS Office Applications;

Qualification & Experience:

  • No criminal record.
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience;
  • Grade 12 plus and a National Diploma/Diploma in Transport Management (NQF level 6);
  • Certificate/Diploma in SAP;
  • Valid Driver’s license;
