Job Description:
To assist the Head of Global Multi-Asset Strategy in researching global macro and investment trends to further understand the drivers of investment performance across asset classes globally
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate as required in relevant forums and committees such as the International Governance Committee
- Participate at the Global Macro Forum
- Participate at the Joint Investment Committee tasked with determining the appropriate and executable investment themes,
- strategies, and trades for the Global Multi-Asset Funds
- Provide regular (quarterly) written feedback with respect to market views and fund performance
- Provide regular written commentary and other marketing support in multiple formats (thought pieces, outlooks, online,
- media, webinars, etc), including monthly reports for Fund Fact Sheets
- Assist the Distribution teams by providing specialist insights and knowledge
- Liaise as appropriate with internal team members to ensure appropriate and optimal implementation of investment views into Global Multi-Asset Funds, as well as to provide Ashburton with access to broader research views
Qualification & Experience:
- 3 to 5 years experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at a junior specialist level
- Demonstrable investment knowledge and top-down global economic drivers
- Bachelors Degree in Investments, Economics, Mathematics or appropriate equivalent
- Preference will be given to those with a Masters in Economics / Investments and preferably studying for CFA
- Knowledge of macroeconomic data
