Job Description:
Finance Managers will focus on partnering, forward looking, large scale and/or high-impact commercial andinvestment decisions and support effective financial planning within their area of responsibility. They will workalongside key business decision makers, influencing and shaping financial plans and advising on future direction andinvestment choices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop profitability to ensure products are develop as profitable as possible
- Run monthly reporting pack and drive performance with business owners
- Projects dependent on business needs and case evaluation
- Drive cost management within customer solution
- Review monthly pack for insight into the business
- Build strategic plans with business owners
- ABC costing improving the accuracy of reporting
- GL mapping for reporting
- Close relationship with business owners on strategic planning of budgets within all BUin customer solution
- Monitor Performance to ensure no revenue leakage
- Identify with Business owners’ areas to focus on for more deep dive analysis
- Develop investment appraisals for strategic grow within the Business
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (AdvancedExcel skills)
- Power BI proficiency and automation
- Attention to detail
- Ability to operation effectively underpressure
- Good communication skills
- Ability to identify weaknesses in thecontrol environment and implementchange
- Financial acumen
- Resourceful
- Internal policies and procedures
- Understand the operations of thevarious systems within the bank andhow these feed into the reportingsystem
Qualification & Experience:
- 6+ years’ experience in similar industry and role
- B.Com / CA (SA) / ACMA/ACCA
- Thorough understand of operations in the bank
- 5 years’ previous experience in personal andbusiness banking
