Job Description:

An exciting opportunity exists for a SENIOR SUPPLY CHAIN BPA at Indigo Brands, Epping, Cape Town. As the successful incumbent, you will have to lead and support the Supply Chain BPA’s in their Projects, problem-solving and decision making to ensure the management of the SOTC, conversion, planning, procurement and warehouse management process continuity. You will have to initiate and facilitate the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain – improve current processes and understand new technology and future enablers. Ensuring a smooth running of existing processes with a specific focus on the end to end Supply Chain but not limited to, wrt SAP, its Master data or processes. Lastly, you will have to manage and support projects (SAP or Non SAP) required across the supply chain.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring maintenance on configurations and master data setups across the Supply Chain
• Problem / error resolution or investigation
• Lead, develop and mentor the team wrt professional as well as personal growth through day-to-day interaction, as well as through the formal performance review processes
• Business Intelligence (BI) tool
• Training on processes and transactions
• Insights into processes or changes
• PLC ownership
• New system implementations
• Internal and external benchmarking
• Data analysis
• Initiate, drive and enable a responsive network
• Understand technology as a Supply Chain enabler
• Improvement of processes/projects/systems across the Supply Chain
• Support SAP upgrades
• Lead and support the BPA’s in their projects, problem-solving and decision making

• Proven Advanced Excel skills including macro’s and pivot tables

• Attention to detail

Qualification & Experience:

• At least 1 year of management experience
• 3 year B.Com degree in either Logistics / Supply Chain Management or any relevant tertiary degree
• Previous working experience of EDI and SAP SD would aid in success in the role
• 5 years’ experience within a business process analysis function
• Project management experience will be advantageous
• 2 years’ experience in a supply planning and customer supply chain environment
• Previous Distribution Centre experience will be highly advantageous
