Job Description: An exciting opportunity exists for a Technical Trainer at NATIONAL BRANDS LIMITED Westmead, Biscuits factory. The purpose of the role is to provide operational training services to the Quality, Engineering, and Logistics & Manufacturing departments in an effort to address legislative, statutory and business competence requirements Job Responsibilities: Manage or escalate challenges that may arise and ensure issues are addressed Monitor and assess training and assessment plans and roll out (monthly/weekly meetings – track progress against plan) Identify suitable partners to assist in closing gaps Research conducted to provide suitable solutions/partners Establish long term, medium-term and short term training requirements for site aligned to business goals and strategy Captures operational training and assessment records Manage the Implementation of Planned Job Observations Review of existing training processes, material and assessments available Answer questions and help resolve issues that arise Identification of skills and performance gaps Arrange training with the OEM where required Develop solutions to close the gap Determine exact need (and supporting information required to establish actual need) Identify training needs identified either through line discussions or gap analysis or assessments process – define ideal Manage and report On-the-job training records Job Requirements: Project management Thinking Analytically Thinking Conceptually Understanding and ability to develop Skills Matrices and Learning Tools Knowledge of best practices i.e. work instructions and SOP development Understanding principles of Out-come Based education, facilitation, assessment and moderation of assessments in the workplace.
