Job Description:
Our Platinum business mines, processes, and refines the entire range of platinum group metals (PGMs): platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, iridium and osmium. We are the world’s leading primary producer of PGMs, which have a range of specialized applications that improve lives across the world, from vehicle fuel cells to jewellery; dentistry to glassmaking; pacemakers to petroleum refining.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support and participate in the training and development requirements of the team
- Provide input to the establishment and development of appropriate specifications, standards and procedures for all issues relating to project design, materials technology and quality assurance/control
- Develop and implement project management support systems that are aligned to all project needs
- Prepare adhoc reports for management or other information customers
- Effective management for agreed ongoing, expansion and site driven projects
- Develop appropriate technical and financial models in conjunction with internal and external service providers
- Provide input and advise to ensure alignment with Process Division priorities and strategies for expansion projects
Job Requirements:
- Government Certificate of Competency (essential)
- Advantageous to have a business qualification
- Finance for non-financial managers course
- Degree or National Diploma in Engineering (essential)
Qualification & Experience:
- 5 years Supervisory experience
- Advanced computer literacy.
- 5 years post Engineering qualification experience with 3 years working in a mineral processing plant.
- Experienced in project site management
- Valid South African Drivers License.
- Advantage: Experience working in a smelter
