Job Description:
We are the world’s leading primary producer of PGMs, which have a range of specialised applications that improve lives across the world – from vehicle fuel cells to jewellery; dentistry to glassmaking; pacemakers to petroleum refining.
Job Responsibilities:
- Attending to Breakdowns and emergencies as required
- Records results of all legal examinations in the appropriate format
- Attend and conduct Safety meeting and participate in Risk assessments
- Exercise judgment with regards to replacement of components
- Ensure proper and adequate on the job training and coaching is provided to subordinates
- Ensure that material, spares and equipment are available as required
- Completing job cards and description of work and spares used (PM’s)
- Allocate tasks to subordinates and attend to Breakdowns and emergencies as required
Job Requirements:
- Basic Computer Literacy
- Driver’s license code 08 with own transport
- If successful, you will be required to undergo a Medical Fitness Test
- Must be familiar with risk assessments procedures
- English literate (speak, read and write)
- Working overtime and standby
Qualification & Experience:
- Grade 12 or Technical Trade Specific N3
- Millwright with Auto Electrician experience on the above equipment will be advantageous
- Experience on LP Sandvik and Epirok XLP and Fermel mediator equipment
- Experience in battery electronic machines will be advantageous
- Auto Electrician Trade Certificate
- At least 2 years experience as a artisan in the mechanised underground mine
