Job Responsibilities:

• Benchmark and evaluate Digitalisation and Training Technology projects across Anglo American and the mining industry at large for the benefit of employees at Kumba
• Introducing, developing, supporting, and providing all Kumba sites with digital training tools, platforms and other training delivery systems to be used in both Functional and Operational training
• Researching and implementing new and advanced training tools and technology to ensure Kumba is always on the forefront of training and people development
• Continuously evaluating all digital training tools and technology to improve training efficiency and platform effectiveness
• Have an innate understanding of training and its associated systems (digital and otherwise) to provide expert advice, training, coaching and assistance to training teams and employees on the ground at the various operations
• Managing the Digitalisation of training and assist to develop the HRD tools and technology required in preparation for the future of work and the next generation of employees across Kumba
• Maintaining an awareness of- and changes in technology relevant to photographic, video and imaging services, including VR/ AR/ XR and the ability to adapt work practices to improve quality and throughput targets

Qualification & Experience:

• Relevant Diploma in Information Technology / Information Management / Computer Science / Software Development preferred
• A good understanding of computer-based training, including E-learning, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Simulators and immersive training technology is required
• Valid driver’s license required
• EDTP NQF Level 5 Higher Certificate will be advantageous
• Software development or SAP qualification will be advantageous
