Job Description:

To provide technical support, perform routine and stat analyses of samples and to assist with supervision related tasks within the Clinical laboratory environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath, Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath, Perform administration tasks in order to ensure effective administration systems in the laboratory, Perform Quality Control procedures in the laboratory in order to ensure best practices are upheld, Process routine bench work in laboratory in order to ensure efficient processing of specimens, Provide technical support within laboratory in order to ensure the efficient flow of specimens and timeous resulting of specimen, Supervise laboratory personnel to ensure that departmental objectives are achieved

Job Requirements:

Knowledge: Google and Google Mail, Knowledge: Instrumentation and Methodologies, Knowledge: Materials Management, Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Word, Knowledge: Quality Control, Knowledge: relevant pathology test procedures, Knowledge of Ampath Safety, Health and Environment management policy

Qualification & Experience:

Certificate: Supervision, HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field, National Diploma: Biomedical Technology. Experience in pathology laboratory environment,
