Job Description:

To provide quality customer service to consumers within the legal-ethical framework of the nursing profession in a phlebotomy environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath., Manage money/cash flow of depot to facilitate collection of payments for phlebotomy services rendered, Perform phlebotomy procedures in order to ensure sufficient delivery of nursing services., Perform phlebotomy related administrative tasks to ensure correct recording and processing of information., Perform safety tasks to ensure safety standards are upheld.

Qualification & Experience:

• Certificate: Phlebotomy techniques (Required), First Aid (Level 1), Grade 12 (Required), HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field (Required)
• Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Word, Knowledge: National Health Act, Knowledge: Nursing Council Scope of Practice, Nursing experience within a hospital and/or laboratory environment, Phlebotomy experience in a laboratory environment
