Job Description:
The Technical Business Analyst will form part of a team responsible for the development of new product features for an integration system within a Telecommunications environment. The Analyst will be responsible for the analysis of technical requirements the system. The analysts do Business and Systems Analysis of complex requirements, focusing on systems analysis by collaborating with the Product Owner, Architects and Developers to deliver new solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Business and Systems analysis of complex requirements, focus on systems analysis
- PI Backlog refinement – ensure tickets are estimated and the team has the information required to deliver
- Facilitate functional / technical walk through sessions with the development teams.
- Forming an integral part of the systems development life cycle in an Agile team
- Taking responsibility during the development life cycle to resolve any business and functional related issues
- Reviewing and editing requirements, specifications, business and systems processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
- Facilitating Business and Functional Design sessions and various meetings with clients
- Problem solving and Diagnostic work
- Creating functional specifications and system design specifications for new features
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects and Developers to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent
Job Requirements:
- Problem solving and diagnostic acumen
- Confidence
- Being able to work in a project/team environment
- Good communication skills
- Business and/or systems analysis experience
Qualification & Experience:
- 8 years’ experience in a systems development environment
- Business Analysis courses and/or Business Analysis Certification
- Three-year tertiary degree – B. degree Computer Science or Information system major or BEng degree or equivalent
- Architecture courses/certifications (Beneficial)
