Job Description:

The successful incumbent of this role will be accountable for the profitable management of all divisions of a Retail Branch within the constraints of AFGRI Group strategies and policies

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide and maintain sound customer relations with internal and external clients (marketing)
  • Maintain control of critical administrative procedures and processes to ensure compliance with relevant policies and legislative requirements (loss control)
  • Manage the branch operations for business optimisation according to the department business plan
  • Manage the branch finances
  • Ensure a well-managed inventory system
  • Provide leadership and support to all employees to ensure a motivated and competent staff complement

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of other AFGRI product agencies
  • Verbal and written communication
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Drivers license
  • Results orientated
  • Team player
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Farming experience or knowledge of farming activities
  • Leadership and managing
  • Basic financial skills
  • Self-starter

Qualification & Experience:

  • 3 – 5 years management related experience in the Agri trade environment
  • Grade 12
  • B. Com degree or equivalent
