Job Description:
The successful incumbent of this role will be accountable for the profitable management of all divisions of a Retail Branch within the constraints of AFGRI Group strategies and policies
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide and maintain sound customer relations with internal and external clients (marketing)
- Maintain control of critical administrative procedures and processes to ensure compliance with relevant policies and legislative requirements (loss control)
- Manage the branch operations for business optimisation according to the department business plan
- Manage the branch finances
- Ensure a well-managed inventory system
- Provide leadership and support to all employees to ensure a motivated and competent staff complement
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of other AFGRI product agencies
- Verbal and written communication
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Drivers license
- Results orientated
- Team player
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Farming experience or knowledge of farming activities
- Leadership and managing
- Basic financial skills
- Self-starter
Qualification & Experience:
- 3 – 5 years management related experience in the Agri trade environment
- Grade 12
- B. Com degree or equivalent
