Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Remuneration and Benefits Specialist within our Human Resources team who will be responsible for:
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage annual salary review processes
- Devise remuneration solutions for specific issues in bordering countries that suit business model while addressing needs
- Lead the education of employees on Remuneration and Benefit matters to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
- Responsible in overseeing the administrative and consultative processes of the benefits department
- Ensure effective management and compliance of benefits being offered in house (loans, bursaries, etc.)
- Administer the Employee Wellness programme
- Manage all job evaluation within the organisation
- Review of benefit offering to the employees through benchmarking of practices and seeking to be market competitive
- Manage the short-term incentive bonus processes
Job Requirements:
- Proven ability to prioritize between multiple high-priority initiatives – results orientated
- Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze benefit and remuneration data
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, at all levels
- Extremely strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of attention to detail
- High Levels of Computer literacy – advanced Excel
- Ability to draft employee benefit proposals that considers impact on all stakeholders (Finance, HR, Culture, Employees, Payroll, Systems)
Qualification & Experience:
- Degree
- Accredited by the South African Reward Association (SARA) as a Reward Analyst or Remuneration Specialist
- Global Remuneration Practitioners (GRP) certification
