Job Description: Reporting to the Executive: Legal and Compliance, the incumbent will be responsible to develop, implement, monitor and manage the organisations compliance function while working in close collaboration with the internal audit, legal, sustainability, finance, human resources and information technology divisions. Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain compliance reports Aligned compliance efforts between the Group and the business units to ensure that compliance risk is not managed in silos Training on general regulatory compliance must be undertaken to ensure that employees are aware of the importance of compliance and the consequences of non-compliance Support the establishment of a structured Group compliance function Implement a compliance monitoring programme to identify and improve areas of compliance weakness and to ensure that there are adequate controls in place Design and lead a strong compliance culture in the business by effectively communicating to relevant stakeholders and addresses challenges in an effective and timely manner Ensure that regulatory compliance in the Group gets the necessary attention it needs to ensure that compliance matters are dealt with proactively Develop and implement a compliance risk management process in line with generally accepted compliance practice Develop a Group compliance framework which aligns to the Group risk management framework Report all instances of non-compliance with laws and regulations to senior management, SERC, and the audit committee in a timely manner Job Requirements: Change management and conflict management skills Excellent presentation skills High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance Strategic understanding of the issues and developing the necessary approach to address these areas Strong facilitation, influencing skills and leadership abilities both inside and outside the organization Proven leadership skills, with good written and oral communication Proactively support high-performing teams and establishes key collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and all levels of employees Professionalism Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making Team player Business acumen Qualification & Experience: At least 4+ years’ experience in a senior compliance managerial position in a medium to large multinational firm with operations in South Africa, Africa and abroad CA (SA)/ MBA / Law Degree Must come from a manufacturing/mining background or similar industry experience Job Details: Company: Omnia Holdings Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Bryanston, Gauteng, SA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Vacancieshut.com
