Job Description: Dis-Chem Pharmacies require the services of a reputable Pharmacist for their Okavango store. Your portfolio will cover the provision of pharmaceutical care by taking responsibility for patients’ medicine-related needs, and being accountable for meeting these needs. Job Responsibilities: Dispensing of any medicine or scheduled substance on the prescription of a person authorised to prescribe medicine Determining patient compliance with the therapy, and follow-up to ensure that the patient’s medicine-related needs are being met The purchasing, acquiring, importing, keeping, possessing, using, releasing, storage, packaging, re-packaging, supplying or selling of any medicine or scheduled substance, or supervision thereof The manufacturing of any medicine or scheduled substance, or supervision thereof The compounding, manipulation, preparation or packaging of any medicine or scheduled substance, or the supervision thereof Furnishing of information and advice to any person with regard to the use medicine Correct errors on scripts rejected by medical aid Accurately interpret scripts and act in a professional and responsible manner, and within the legal requirements in accordance with the SAPC The provision of pharmacist-initiated therapy The application for the registration of a medicine in accordance with the Medicines Act and Pharmacy Act Job Requirements: Problem-solving Computer literate – MS Office Sound numerical skills Trustworthy and honest Time management Conflict management Strong attention to detail Able to deal with pressure Team player Qualification & Experience: Sound numerical skills Computer literate – MS Office Strong command of the English language and a second language Experience in supervising staff BPharm / equivalent qualification Unisolv experience Grade 12 / Matric Registered tutor Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) Job Details: Company: Dis-Chem Pharmacies Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Kraaifontein, Western Cape, SA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Vacancieshut.com
