Job Description: Dis-Chem Pharmacies require the services of a reputable Pharmacist for their Witbank store. Your portfolio will cover the provision of pharmaceutical care by taking responsibility for patients’ medicine-related needs, and being accountable for meeting these needs. Job Responsibilities: Determining patient compliance with the therapy, and follow-up to ensure that the patient’s medicine-related needs are being met Furnishing of information and advice to any person with regard to the use medicine The purchasing, acquiring, importing, keeping, possessing, using, releasing, storage, packaging, re-packaging, supplying or selling of any medicine or scheduled substance, or supervision thereof Correct errors on scripts rejected by medical aid Accurately interpret scripts and act in a professional and responsible manner, and within the legal requirements in accordance with the SAPC The manufacturing of any medicine or scheduled substance, or supervision thereof Provision of pharmaceutical care by taking responsibility for patients’ medicine-related needs, and being accountable for meeting those needs, which shall include, but not be limited to the following functions: Dispensing of any medicine or scheduled substance on the prescription of a person authorised to prescribe medicine The compounding, manipulation, preparation or packaging of any medicine or scheduled substance, or the supervision thereof The provision of pharmacist-initiated therapy Evaluation of a patient’s medicine-related needs by determining the indication, safety and effectiveness of the therapy Job Requirements: English and second language – Read, write and speak Ability to train other staff members Good communication skills, listening Supervisor experience, and able to lead by example Basic dosing and important drug interaction Strong attention to detail Sound numerical skills Customer service/focus Conflict management Qualification & Experience: Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) Sound numerical skills Grade 12 / Matric Experience in supervising staff Computer literate – MS Office Strong command of the English language and a second language Unisolv experience BPharm / equivalent qualification Registered tutor Job Details: Company: Dis-Chem Pharmacies Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Emalahleni, Mpumalanga, SA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Vacancieshut.com
