Job Responsibilities: Ensure IFRS17 Implementation in Life Entities and Group Consolidated AFS Provide technical accounting support to business units and drive implementation of technical standards in the Hollard Group Life entities Perform duties and maintain financial controls within the financial reporting environment and drive balance sheet controls / management across the Group Centre / Life Division Project Support: Key player in group financial reporting projects: IFRS 17 Implementation / Adhoc requirements Prepare and coordinate the regulatory reporting (FSCA, SARB, NCR) for Life Entities Responsible for all internal and external financial reporting requirements of the Hollard Group and Life Division -Management accounts and entities Support the budgeting and forecasting process across the Life Division / Consolidated Hollard Group Preparation of the consolidated Group and Life entities annual financial statements Stakeholder Support: BU internal stakeholders, actuarial stakeholders and external audit relationships and provide support to divisions and the external audit process Provide financial support in assessing business performance by monitoring the key financial metrics, key ratios, regulatory risks, insurance reserving and other governance and risk management practices Preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual Life divisional and entity inputs into Flash Results, Management accounts, Group Exco and Board packs Job Requirements: Ability to work well under pressure A minimum of 2 years financial management experience A minimum of 4 years’ experience post articles Stakeholder management Exceptional business acumen and broad business knowledge In depth knowledge of financial accounting and related processes Knowledge of accounting packages, systems and controls including reporting and budgeting (Great Plains / HFM / Hyperion Planning) Insurance Industry experience preferable Analytical thinking skills IFRS and International accounting standards Related legislation Job Details: Company: Hollard Insurance Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Parktown, Gauteng, SA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Vacancieshut.com
