Job Responsibilities: Maintain controls to ensure billing accuracy and cash collections within terms Capital expenditure management and evaluation of capital projects Ensure accounting standards are in compliance with Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) Standardization of processes and systems across the business Assist in reviewing reported results (Monthly, Interim and Year End), analyze variances and deviations from benchmarks Oversee preparation and review of monthly general ledger and reconciliations of various ledger accounts Accountability for allocated costs to correct divisions and cost centres, reporting on variances Cash forecasts and treasury management Implementing, maintaining, enforcing and monitoring fit-for-purpose internal control systems to ensure adequate safeguarding of assets at operational units Dissemination of financial statements and reports as required Oversee preparation and review the accounts payable sub-ledger reconciliations Maintain the integrity, accuracy and governance of all financial affairs in operational units Implement and enforce fit-for-purpose processes and controls at operational units to ensure accurate and timely processing of Orders, GRV’s and Invoices to enable timely reconciliation and payment of creditors Assisting with analysis of business performance Job Requirements: Strong FRS knowledge Big picture thinking with a high tolerance to stress Strong process orientation about financial discipline Ability to ensure clear communication channels Individual who can improve and implement on processes and systems Commercial acumen and corporate governance Excel and numeracy competency – extremely good Qualification & Experience: Bcom degree 5 years’ experience in similar role Preference will be given to SAICA articles Job Details: Company: Tsebo Solutions Group Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Kimberley, Northern Cape, SA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Vacancieshut.com
