Job Description: To translate the overarching MTN Technology Centre of Excellence for Business to Business (B2B) strategy into actionable technology solutions and ensure operational excellence of IP and SDWAN networks and system architecture. Job Responsibilities: Maintain updated knowledge of alternative and market research studies that provide data which aid in the selection of tools, technologies, solutions, and methodologies. Provide support to Sales teams, Systems Engineers, other Systems Architects, and application teams in Technology and GEBU Business and the OPCOs aligned with the mandate of the Enterprise CoE. Maintain updated knowledge of complexities, services, and regulations related to relevant geographic locations to cater to the demands of customers in each location. Investigate incidents and produce due diligence reports to be used in the creation of action plans to guide any remedial actions needed. Define and interlock security standards with Group Security teams. Conduct product evaluation activities to ensure products are fit for purpose and comply with minimum security requirements. Assess risk factors and limitations of the current systems related to the UCC Services Architecture, and identify areas of opportunity for mitigation. Qualification & Experience: Related industry certifications in TOGAF/UML Modelling. Minimum of 5 years or more ISP experience SD-WAN related certifications (Cisco, Nokia, Huawei, Aruba, etc.) An MBA or post graduate degree is advantageous. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IP LAN/WAN design and/or support, including VPNs in a Cisco environment. Experience on high-end Cisco routers is a pre-requisite.
